Me and my family were on a steep and winding highway along a river, presumably for a trip. We pulled over to begin unloading our things along with many boats, all while blocking traffic. All 5 of us had our own boats that we eventually got down into the water. Me and my sister were making sure my mom had all her things together because she was scatter brained and the traffic was building, people were getting annoyed. At last we were down the river bank and started up our boats. My mother took on the role of setting the pace for everyone heading down-river. In my boat I was carrying a large bundle of oars which hung off the edge of the boat. They were dragging in the water heavily, splashing up water, slowing me down. It wasn't long before I got separated from everyone, so I pulled off onto the rivers edge. I saw a branch on fire and it caught my attention, it was visually gravitating. It wasn't actively "burning", instead it was pure energy in the form of fire living on the branch in co-existence. I grabbed it and it didn't burn me, instead the energy taking place on the branch acted as "fuel" which allowed me to fly. It had the spirit of a living thing. The burning branch took me into the sky and above the river like a shooting star. It was trying to help me look for my family, but it soon ran out of energy and began to actually burn, the fire consumed the branch, and its life force / spirit was gone. It became hot so I let go, falling down into the river. I swam to the bank accepting I would no longer pursue catching up with my family. Instead, I hiked up the river bank towards an old building that caught my eye, its pointy roof poking above the treeline. When I got closer it appeared to be made of stone and was quite run down. I bumped into a woman who was the "keeper" of the building which she stated was actually a church. She seemed devoted to keeping a watchful eye on it. She was frantic and telling me it was not a good time to visit as there was an issue in the main room. I asked her about this problem and she said there was a someone who wouldn't leave. This someone was a moth. According to her, this moth was cursed, a sign of the devil, and she wanted to get it out urgently because it would bring bad luck to her establishment. When I asked her how she knew it was cursed, she claimed its many spots and distinct markings were proof. I didn't feel scared of the moth like she was, it was small, delicate, and was bouncing off the light on the ceiling. I offered my help to try and get the moth out of the building, I began to climb chairs and tables to reach it ------ But then I awoke.

I am walking down a quiet street at dusk, the kind of neighborhood I do not quite recognize but feels familiar all the same. The air is thick with the scent of lilacs (one of my favorite smells), and the pavement is still warm beneath my feet. I am not wearing shoes, but it does not bother me.
At the end of the street stands a dilapidated house with a wraparound porch and windows that glow like lanterns. Something about it tugs at me. I step onto the porch, and the wood creaks under me. When I reach for the doorknob it turns easily in my hand, as if expecting me.
Inside, the house feels familiar. There is floral wallpaper and heavy velvet curtains. I walk through the rooms and every piece of furniture and every photograph feel to be exactly as it should be. It's unfamiliar yet comfortable being inside.
Then I hear footsteps upstairs. They are slow. I call out, but no one answers. A strange feeling settles in my chest. Not exactly fear, but a deep awareness that I am not alone. I climb up the stairs and see a door slightly ajar. Inside, an older lady in her 80's it seems is sitting in a chair by the window, gazing out. She does not turn when I enter, but I can almost feel that she has been waiting for me. Then I woke up. #House #Nostalgia Although this might sound a tinge off-putting, being in the same room as her felt comforting and safe. I do hope to see her again.
I had spent hours cooking for me and my gf and when I was done I reluctantly took a bite. Immediately I started gagging and crying and could feel the bite scratching the inside of my throat. My gf tried to console me. I couldn’t help but stare wide eyed at the fish-based dish I was force feeding myself then I woke up

I woke up to my girlfriend asking me if I’m okay while SHE WAS ASLEEP !!!
I had a dream that I was in Animal Crossing but my island wasn’t how I remembered it. The trees were hyper realistic and taller, the villagers moved almost robotically, and the sky had a light red tint. I tried to talk to random villagers but all dialogue was in random symbols.
Then I was at a large pond and checking my inventory which was full of fish I didn’t recognize and that were extremely life-like. After closing my inventory I was in my house. It felt comfortable, but I wanted to keep exploring so I opened my door but it led into the museum. I walked in and felt something look at me and I stg blathers was there and just staring at me which caused me to wake up

I had one of those stress dreams where I was hosting a big family dinner, except I completely forgot to check if I had any ingredients. I was supposed to make lasagna, but when I opened the fridge, all I had was one sad noodle, no ricotta, and a bottle of garlic powder that looked like it predated civilization. Instead of admitting defeat, my dream-brain went full chaos mode. I mixed cottage cheese with cream cheese (why?), threw in the ancient garlic powder, and decided the lone lasagna noodle could just sit on top for aesthetics. The salad? A single cucumber slice on a plate. Somehow, I believed this was a reasonable solution.
Then my family arrived, and things got weird(er) lol. My mom took a bite and gave me a slow, disappointed nod. My brother just stared. My dad, bless him, ate everything like it was totally normal. Then my dog was suddenly sitting at the table, wearing an apron, judging my plating as the lasagna switched into a casserole made of legos. Right as I was about to finally take a bite, I woke up confused, starving, and honestly kind of concerned about what my subconscious thinks of my cooking skills.

I was in the middle of an icy frozen lake. My dad was ice fishing but i was just stopping by to look for something (I still have no idea what). I walked around from ice fishing hole to ice fishing hole to look down I to the depths of the frozen lake but none felt like I was getting closer to finding what I was looking for. One ice fishing hole that was in the middle of the lake was in front of a red bench. It looked so picturesque but had me wondering who would put such a beautiful bench in the middle of a frozen lake?
(The Google interpretation makes so much sense!!)

I’ve had false awakenings, dream loops, and sleep paralysis before, but today was on another level. It wasn’t just a dream trap—it was a complete sensory and reality distortion, where dream and reality became indistinguishable.
• I took an afternoon nap and found myself in a dream at a theme park with a trampoline. The setting wasn’t scary—it actually felt familiar because I met someone there who told me he was an old childhood friend I hadn’t seen in years.
• It was only when he casually mentioned, “We all eventually die at the end, and the cycle keeps repeating,” that things started to feel eerie.
• Suddenly, I “woke up” in my own room, lying exactly where I had fallen asleep. Everything looked real—I saw my curtains, my bed, my phone ringing with my dad calling me in real life.
• I got up and went to my dad’s room, where I saw both my mom and dad. They were talking about how a cousin was coming over and they were thinking of getting new curtains. I even thought about helping them choose.
• That’s when I saw it—a blue soft toy I had never seen before.
• Suddenly, the soft toy floated in the air and hit me. And that’s when it hit me too—this wasn’t real. The soft toy didn’t exist in real life.
• Instantly, I was back on my bed.
I tried to open my eyes and my left eye was fully open, my right eye was half-open. I could see my real curtains which were orange, feel my phone buzz as my dad calling me in real life—but I couldn’t move my body or even my eyeballs.
• I closed my eyes again, and suddenly I was back in the trampoline dream.
• I opened my eyes again, and this time again my left eye was still open, right eye half-open—but then everything started spinning.. the orange curtains I was seeing wrapped in itself and then it was like what they show in an acid trip in movies. I was like I was hallucinating, reality itself felt warped.
• Every time I opened my eyes, it was my real room, but it wasn’t “real.” I couldn’t move, and the hallucinations became more intense. Everything was spiralling…
I have never felt so helpless … I knew it was a dream but I couldn’t wake up … and the worst thing was I had my eyes open but I wasn’t awake…
Thankfully my dad came into my room and shook me awake. He was wondering why wasn’t u answering his calls and that he had been calling me.
I’ve had sleep paralysis before, but this was different. Usually, I “wake up” in a dream and just have to force myself to wake up or I get tired and I eventually wake even when I have had false awakenings…. But This time, I was aware of reality but had zero control over my body or perception. I was in a loop where dream and reality kept merging into one another, and I couldn’t escape. The worst thing was the hallucinations and the fact that my eyes were actually open and yet I wasn’t awake….
I have had so much false awakenings and sleep paralysis before to an extent that I was scared of falling asleep for days…. But today was worst…. It was like hijacking my senses…
Has anyone else experienced this extreme level of false awakening/sleep entrapment where reality and dream completely merge? I’m still unnerved by it.
I was walking through a quiet neighborhood at dusk when I saw a cat sitting in the middle of the sidewalk. It was black with a little white spot on its nose, staring at me like it had been waiting. When I got closer, she stood up and started walking, looking back every couple steps to make sure I was following. I wasn’t sure why, but just blindly I followed her. We walked for what felt like hours, even though the houses never changed. Eventually, she led me to a small door in the side of a tree—just big enough for a person to crawl through. She just sat next to the door, tail flicking, waiting for me to open it.
I hesitated, and the cat let out a slow, deep meow that sounded almost human. Freaked me out so bad I woke up in a panic

I was driving down a long empty road at night that was kind of beachy, but the car wouldn’t stop accelerating no matter how hard I pressed the brake. Suddenly the car swerved, as if it had a mind of its own, and I ended up on a winding mountain road. The trees around me weren’t trees anymore, just like giant mirrors reflecting my car in every direction.
In the rearview mirror, I saw another car following me, but when I looked back, there was nothing. I tried to speed up, but the car seemed to be getting quieter. Eventually my car came to a slow stop all on its own, and the engine cut out.
Definitely feeling like lots of symbolism here

I had a dream that I was wrapped in a huge, heavy blanket that I couldn’t take off. No matter how hard I pulled, it just kept getting tighter, like it was trying to hold me still. At first, it was comforting, but then I realized I couldn’t move my arms.
I tried to stand up, but the blanket dragged me back down. When I looked closer, the fabric was covered in tiny, shifting words I couldn’t read.
