Eye of the cosmos

I was in my backyard at night standing on the patio. The night sky was a deep mahogany. There was a massive blue portal shooting upwards into the sky. It was violent but also ethereal. Everything began to crumble, literally. The world began disintegrating into oblivion all around me. It was being destroyed by this massive black hole portal. So I ended up running around trying to avoid being sucked into this portal. I was in my backyard on this piece of earth that was not getting sucked in. The portal became like a rainbow. It looked like the eye of the cosmos. Me and my brother were sitting on the piece of earth waiting for the end. The portal was all encompassing, everything around us was gone. My brother had his head in his knees and was very upset. He was resigned to his fate. I remember staring down at the portal and at first I was afraid, but then the fear disappeared into curiosity. I felt there was something on the other side of the portal and I was curious about what was beyond. Eventually the earth we were sitting on fell away and we fell into the black hole, but then I woke up.
